Information Collection
The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc. (NAWCC) is the sole owner of the information collected on WatchDig.org. NAWCC collects information from users at several different points on the website.
Registration
You are not required to register to use the WatchDig.org website. Users wishing to make comments directly on WatchDig.org must be a registered user of Facebook.com. Visit www.facebook.com to sign up or to read Facebook’s privacy/terms-of-use policy. Comments made on sites not controlled by WatchDig.org or the NAWCC are subject to the terms and conditions of that particular site. Please read the NAWCC Privacy Statement before using nawcc.org or other NAWCC website properties.
During the Facebook login procedure, the only information transmitted to WatchDig.org is the Facebook account name and email address associated with the account. No other information is collected. WatchDig.org does not have access to any personal information on users’ Facebook profile. Logging into WatchDig.org via Facebook does not constitute “friending” or becoming a “fan.”
When a user signs into WatchDig.org, a unique WatchDig.org profile is created. Users may edit their WatchDig.org profile information. Information provided to the NAWCC through the Facebook/WatchDig.org login process may be supplied to the NAWCC national organization and/or regional chapters for recruitment. Information will not be shared with any other organization or company.
Profile
Information is collected through cookies, log files, and/or third parties (Google Analytics) to create a profile of user activities on our website. Collected information is used to improve the content of the site for users. We do not share this information with third parties.
Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on our website.
Choice/Opt Out
Users are offered the opportunity to opt out of having their contact information given to the NAWCC National or Chapters. Email the site administrator to be removed from the WatchDig.org user database. The email address is watchdig@nawcc.org.

This website contains links to other sites. The NAWCC is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
Surveys
Occasionally, we request information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Typically, contact information (name and email address) and demographic information (e.g., zip code, age, and gender) are asked. Contact information will be shared with the survey sponsors. Users’ personal identity information is not shared with third parties unless we give prior notice and choice. The intermediary that we use to conduct these surveys does not use users’ personal identity information for any secondary purposes.
Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. Any sensitive information submitted via the website is protected both online and off-line.

Emailing the NAWCC
The NAWCC mail server uses software that rejects emails with offensive wording or potentially fraudulent or threatening content. Legitimate email may be accidentally blocked from reaching its destination by this scanning software. If you have not received a reply to confirm receipt or think that your email may not have been delivered, please contact the intended recipient via phone.
